Trout Fishing is Addictive! Did you know that Fannin County is officially designated as the trout capital of Georgia? Actually, people travel from all over the country to fish here. Because the dam at Lake Blue Ridge releases water from the bottom of the lake, the water flowing into the Toccoa River stays nice and cold even through the summer months.
